Art Workshop Instructor, Maggie Renner Hellmann will share with you her craft & knowledge of the important foundations of painting and guide you to easy access, spectacular painting areas.

Days begin with Maggie giving a demo & instruction focusing on the different “elements of composition” and then she will assist artists individually and paint for students to observe.

A delicious picnic lunch will be offered around 12:30. The afternoons will be free for more painting or exploring as you wish. Sharing & a critique will be offered at the end of the day along with celebration for a day well spent

As you breathe in the fresh mountain air & enjoy french picnic lunches, Maggie will share with you the history & lore of the French alps. Maggie & her husband, Lou Renner have been leading tours here for over 10 years. This easy access, magical alpine land will inspire you!

Evenings will be spent exploring the town and enjoying the best variety of French & European cuisine as we try out the many charming local restaurants.

Never a dull or 'no choice' meal!

There is always the quieter option of dinner at our own lovely hotel and exploring on your own.

We will stay in an excellent French alpine hotel just over the mountain from Switzerland & Italy.

We will plan to spend one unforgettable overnight at the most enchanting alpine hut that europe has to offer! This charming hut is on a secluded lake in a french nature preserve. See alpine wildflowers, alpine lakes & streams, wild ibex & marmots. Complete the picture with magnifiscent alpine sunset and sunrise with views across the valley toward the glacier covered Mont Blanc mountain range!

Definitely on the 'bucket' list for living a full life!
