With this california art tour, we will paint in various spectacular
central coast locations! Our emphasis will be on learning composition,
color, light & value, positive & negative shapes, edges, perspective,
ect.- the core of successful paintings!
Art Workshop Instructor, Maggie Renner
Hellmann will share with you her craft & knowledge of the important
foundations of painting & you will be guided
to easy access, spectacular painting areas.
Days begin with Maggie giving a demo with
handouts on the “elements of painting” and then she will assist
artists individually thru-out the day. Come & share in the energy
inherent in painting outdoors.

About
the Workshops:
Work in Your Choice of Medium!
Workshops will focus on universal foundations important
to all mediums. Composition, Value, Light, Color, Shapes, Positive &
Negative, Volume, Edges, and Perspective.
Some Mediums to Consider:
Sketching, Oil, Colored Pencils, Acrylic,
Soft Pastel, Watercolor, Oil Pastel, Mixed Media,
& Photography.
Days will begin with group instruction, demos, examples
and handouts. We will then sketch or paint - along with individual instruction
as desired!
The afternoons will be free for more painting or exploring as you wish.
Group sharing & a critique will be offered at the end of the day.

No experience necessary!
